Teaching biology led me to paint watercolours of groups of birds or other animals on semi-abstract backgrounds. I also paint landscapes, trees, falls, people and urban scenes. I have practiced watercolour since 1995. I have attended various exhibitions, including Sainte-Rose (Rose-Art), Saint-Laurent, Cap-Rouge and Le Partage. I received an honorable mention at the 2016 and the 2021 Saint-Laurent shows. Painting compositions of groups of birds during reproduction season really appeals to me. In this type of work, I insert a white outline around animals to increase the brightness and fantasy aspect. With all my various works, I hope to bring a different point of view that will touch people. |
