|Irene Depa was born in Montreal and has had a love of the arts from a young age. She has experimented with several mediums but has been concentrating on watercolors since 1987.
She has taken several art courses and studied watercolors for 10 years at the Centre des loisirs de Saint-Laurent with Madeleine Dussault. Her fascination with her preferred medium is to capture light, express colors and move the viewer.
She has participated in many group exhibitions and her watercolors are in private collections world-wide. She has been a member of the Saint-Laurent Artists’ Association since its creation in 1992.
